This has to be one of the best Anime/Manga of all time! The books where made by Ken Akamatsu but I'm not shore who created the TV series but who ever wrote the series I envy. There are a lot of main characters so I can't name them all. The story starts out in Whales(Negi's hometown) where Negi graduates the magic academy and then Negi gets his duty as a wizard and it is a OMG TEACHER IN JAPAN!!!!!!!!! By the way Negi's only ten years old so that's a pretty big responsability! Also the school he's teaching at Mahora Academy which by the was is an all girl school and he works in class 2-A. That class is quite the challenge the people in the class are Sayo,Yuuna,Kazumi,Yue,Ako,Akira,Misa,Asuna,Misora,Chachamaru,Kugimya,Ku Fei,Konoka,Haruna,Setsuna,Makie,Sakurado,Mana,Fuka,Fumika,Satomi,Chisame,Evangeline,Nodoka,Natsumi,Ayaka,Satsuki,Zazie.
